Oh, non so voi, ma io inizio ad allacciarmi le cinture: ora che comincia a guadagnare un pezzettino di notorietà, saltano fuori robe dal passato di cui neanche immaginavamo l’esistenza. Personalmente sono curiosa come una scimmia e spero ardentemente che esca qualcosa risalente agli anni delle superiori (anche se già si è detto che non fosse propriamente uno sfigato…).

Per l’intanto vi domando: 7 anni fa, cosa facevate?  Alex frequentava il NIDA e stava per diplomarsi attore e si guadagnava da vivere facendo diversi mestieri, come ha affermato durante il TCA Tour per la promozione di Three Rivers.

La foto, apparsa sul sito australiano MercadoTV , riporta che è stata scattata per un magazine rivolto ai gay. L’articolo dice:

Every Thursday night on GO! fans of Alex O’Loughlin can re-watch him in
his short-lived but incredibly popular 2007 drama MOONLIGHT (which
aired just a bit too early to cash in ont he current vampire craze a la
TWILIGHT and TRUE BLOOD). Back in 2002 however, Alex O’Lachlan (as he
was then known by) was one of Sydney’s Sexiest Barmen in a photo shoot
for the now-defunct gay photography magazine "blue". According to the
blurb, he was in his final year at NIDA and his favourite pick-up line
was "Um, excuse me, sorry to bother you but I was just wondering if you
would like to have sex with me sometime." Now this is not meant to
insinuate in any way that he is gay because, sadly, I don’t think he is
but isn’t it funny to see him before he practised that smouldering look
he flashes for the cameras so often these days. O’Loughlin’s latest TV
series THREE RIVERS begins in a few weeks and is a medical organ
transplant show that also stars sexy Shane from THE L WORD.
UUnfortunately the pre-advance buzz is not good. Check it out for
yourself and wonder if it’ll be fast-trcked here on Ten or saved to
burn off during summer …

Ogni giovedì sera su GO! i fan di Alex O’Loughlin possono rivederlo nel suo show televisivo Moonlight del 2007 dalla vita breve ma incredibilmente popolare (che è andato in onda giusto un po’ troppo presto per trarre profitto dall’attuale mania dei vampiri alla TWILIGHT e TRUE BLOOD). Nel 2002 comunque, Alex O’Lachlan (come allora era conosciuto) era uno dei Barman più Sexy di Sydney in un servizio fotografico per l’ormai defunta rivista fotografica per gay "blue". Stando a quanto si dice nel box in rilievo, era al suo ultimo anno al NIDA e la sua frase preferita per rimorchiare era: "Uhm, mi scusi, mi dispiace disturbarla ma stavo giusto pensando se le piacerebbe fare sesso con me qualche volta". Ora con questo non si vuole insinuare in alcun modo che lui sia gay perché, tristemente, non penso che lo sia ma non è divertente vederlo prima che mettesse in pratica quello sguardo ardente che fa balenare per le telecamere molto spesso di questi tempi. L’ultima serie TV di O’Loughlin, THREE RIVERS, comincerà tra alcune settimane e sarà uno show sui trapianti d’organo che vedrà per protagonista anche la sexy Shane da THE L WORD. Sfortunatamente, le voci prima della messa in onda non sono buone. Verificatelo voi stessi e valutate se sarà di gran successo qui su Ten o se sarà conservato per essere bruciato durante l’estate…
