Its been a while

Hi everybody. Well it certainly has been a minute since I last wrote you all, but I am glad to say that it’s because I literally have not stopped working since we last spoke. I finished The Backup Plan a few days ago and flew straight back to LA to start production on Three Rivers, which is where I am now.

The film experence was wonderful! We were very lucky to have the team of producers & the director that we had and I would work with them all again tomorrow! It was nothing but positive.

Our director and leader, Alan Poul was as good as you can get. Very intelligent, funny, sensative to everyone’s needs and a true visionary. I think we might just have a decent little film on our hands!

Many of you have sent me messages full of questions about Jennifer and how I found working with her, and I appreciate your enthusiasm. Jennifer is a very private person and I respect that, so what I will tell you is that she is all the good things you could possibly imagine her to be. Funny, smart, generous, always prepared, very professional, always punctual… and of course, beautiful.

Thank you all so much for the constant support. It can be difficult to reach you all personally and individually, but none of your love and hard work ever goes unnoticed or unappreciated. It is something in my life that helps me find the energy I don’t always think I have, to get through another long work day and stay inspired. Without you all it would be kind of pointless so, again, thank you.

E’ passato un po’

Ciao a tutti. Be’, è certamente passato un po’ da quando vi ho scritto
l’ultima volta, ma sono felice di dirvi che è stato a causa del fatto
che letteralmente non ho smesso di lavorare dall’ultima volta che ci
siamo parlati. Ho finito The Backup Plan qualche giorno fa e sono
direttamente volato a Los Angeles per iniziare la produzione di Three
Rivers, che è dove sono ora.

L’esperienza del film è stata fantastica! Siamo stati molto fortunati
ad avere il team di produttori e il regista che abbiamo avuto e
lavorerei con loro di nuovo anche domani! Non è stata nient’altro che
positiva.

Il nostro regista e capo, Alan Poul è stato quanto di meglio si possa
avere. Molto intelligente, divertente, sensibile ai bisogni di tutti e
un vero precursore dei tempi. Penso che potremmo avere un discreto
filmetto nelle nostre mani!

Molti di voi mi hanno inviato messaggi pieni di domande su Jennifer e
su come mi sono trovato a lavorare con lei e apprezzo il vostro
entusiasmo. Jennifer è una persona molto riservata e lo rispetto,
quindi ciò che posso dirvi è che è tutte le cose migliori che possiate
immaginare di lei. Divertente, sveglia, generosa, sempre preparata,
molto professionale, sempre puntuale… e ovviamente, stupenda.

Grazie mille a tutti per il vostro costante sostegno. Può essere
difficile contattare tutti personalmente e individualmente, ma il
vostro affetto e duro lavoro non passa inosservato o non apprezzato. E’
qualcosa nella mia vita che mi aiuta a trovare l’energia che non sempre
penso di avere per arrivare alla fine di un altro lungo giorno di
lavoro e a rimanere motivato. Senza voi tutti sarebbe alquanto senza
senso quindi, di nuovo, grazie.

Ieri sera, all’Hotel Griffou di New York, Jennifer Lopez ha festeggiato i suoi 40 anni. Al party a sorpresa organizzato dal marito Marc Anthony, erano invitati celebrità del calibro di Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes e Victoria Beckam. Tra tutte queste star, c’era anche Alex. Il nostro ragazzone è diventato amico di Jennifer e Marc, a quanto pare. Ma d’altronde, lui diventa amico di tutti, con il suo modo di fare genuino e alla mano. Ecco cos’ha detto Jennifer di lui, durante l’intervista rilasciata ad Access To Hollywood:

“We had a meeting before they hired him to make sure that there was a certain kind of chemistry, that we hit it off, and that we could see each other in the characters and stuff like that. I was definitely part of the process of, you know, picking him. I just think that he really was so… I don’t wanna say the wrong word, but he was very confident. He was very confident, and I think we needed that. We needed somebody for this character Zoe, who is, you know, went to Harvard, and worked at, you know, Google, and then has her own business. Now she’s very self-sufficient and doesn’t really need anybody. So, the person has to be somebody who she wants, so badly. You know, that has to be somebody that she respects and who can stand up to her. And I think when I met Alex in the room, I felt like he could be good to go kinda “toe to toe” with me. He’s awesome. He’s, you know, good-looking, and tall, and sweet, and charming. He’s very leading man material. You know so, he’s perfect, he was perfect for the role and we’ve been having a great time doing it together. I know both of us are going to be very sad when the movie’s over because we’ve had the best time together.”
